'West Ham might' - Simon Jordan locks in Premier League relegation prediction
One pundit has been discussing West Ham’s chances of dodging the Premier League drop.
West Ham are in the battle for their Premier League lives, just goal difference from safety after a week of no change at the bottom. All four clubs involved in the scrap for safety drew, and while some draws might be more valuable than others, the gaps between the teams did not change.

West Ham picked up a huge point against Manchester City, as Nottingham Forest did in their last game, while Tottenham drew at Liverpool. Nottingham Forest and Leeds United picked up less impressive points, but they kept both clubs above the dotted line.
With just eight games remaining, it looks as though the basement battle will be the most exciting part of the Premier League climax, and West Ham will be desperate to come out on top as they look to avoid a descent to the Championship.
The Hammers have been in very solid form of late, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men completely transforming their form since January, with new signings like Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos playing a central role.
That turnaround has given them an opportunity where there didn’t look to be one before, but there is still a lot of work to do. The Iron still haven’t been able to climb out of the bottom three, and that will be a concern.
In fact, if you ask TalkSport pundit Simon Jordan, West Ham are still prime candidates to drop out of the Premier League, even with their good form of late.
He said: “Nuno Espírito Santo has built up morale inside the club because their recent performances have been commendable.
“But I still feel — and I’m not going to change my view — that West Ham might still find themselves getting relegated.”
West Ham’s bid to prove pundits like Jordan wrong will continue with a date with Aston Villa this weekend.
