Watford, Sunderland and Leeds United rivals sign 'unplayable' Championship goal-machine
Watford rivals Ipswich Town have completed the impressive loan signing of AFC Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore. The 31-year-old joins the promotion-chasing side until the end of the season.
It's a major coup for Kieran McKenna's side, who sit second in the league and are hoping to end the season in an automatic promotion spot. Southampton and Leeds United are hot on their heels for those prized top two places with clubs including Watford, Sunderland and Hull City looking to break into the top six. Moore's arrival at Portman Road is one of the most head-turning deals in the second tier on Deadline Day.

Hide AdMoore has only eight Premier League appearances for Bournemouth this season as he struggled to oust in-form Dominic Solanke from the striker role but arrives at Ipswich Town with a respected record in the league. In 155 Championship appearances for clubs including Cardiff City, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic, Moore has bagged 47 goals.
Former Cherries manager Scott Parker hailed the player 'unplayable' in 2022 as he helped the side to promotion to the Premier League. Moore could make his first appearance for Ipswich Town against Preston North End on Friday, before the visit of West Brom and trip to London to face Millwall.
Speaking to the club after his move was confirmed, Moore said: "It’s great to finally get it over the line because it’s been a long time coming during the window.
“I remember my first spell here and I’ve gone away and worked very hard on myself during that time, so I’m delighted to be back and can’t wait to get going. I was really excited when I spoke to everyone here and now I just want to meet the group, get out on the pitch and contribute.”
