Watford head to in-form Leeds United on Tuesday night looking to respond to their 3-0 hammering at the hands of rivals Luton Town last weekend.
The Hornets have lost three of their last five Championship games, after being defeated by three goals against Norwich City, Preston North End and the Hatters. They have recorded 2-1 wins over Sunderland and Middlesbrough, respectively, in that same run of games.

Leeds head into the game off the back of beating Sheffield United 2-0, with the result a first loss of the season for the Blades. Watford can move level on points with the Whites with a victory in West Yorkshire and ahead of the game, we have rounded up the injury latest from both camps with mixed news for the Championship duo.
Leeds United injury news
Leeds have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their clash with Watford as Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu and Max Wober remain the only players sidelined. Manor Solomon and Daniel James returned to the squad against Sheffield United but there was a minor scare for star forward Willy Gnonto in that game.
The Italian went down early on Friday with an apparent shoulder injury but shook it off. Providing an update, Farke said on Monday: "I was very close [to substituting him]. I brought Manor Solomon to the bench and had taken off his tracksuit, but Willy gave a signal that it was getting better. I was a bit nervous after the game, sometimes with adrenaline you can get through but there's a serious injury. We scanned him and thankfully it was just a bruise so he is available."
Out: Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu and Max Wober. Doubts: None.
Watford injury news
There was mixed news for Watford with Dan Bachmann passed fit to face Leeds but defender Angelo Ogbonna will be out for a couple of weeks. Jeremy Ngakia and Kevin Keben are both closing in on their respective returns, but Hornets boss Tom Cleverley says Tuesday is too soon for them.

He’ll miss out tomorrow night. He had a scan this morning and I expect him to be out weeks rather than months. The timing of Francisco Sierralta returning has happened at a very good time. Jeremy Ngakia is getting very close and should be available for selection against Blackburn, as is the case with Kevin Keben and I’m excited about his return and how well he’s looking in training.”
The returning Bachmann had a minor concern with his thigh injury but will be available for selection. Cleverley said: “After Friday’s training session we had no hint of risk that he was playing. That quickly materialised in the game though, and he wasn’t quite right. He feels much better now, and he’s passed his fitness test and is available for tomorrow’s game.”
Out: Jeremy Ngakia, Angelo Ogbanna, Kevin Keben. Doubts: None.
