Tottenham have received a boost amid reported interest in a manager.
Tottenham have received a boost in their reported interest in a manager ahead of the summer. Spurs will be on the lookout for a new boss this summer having only appointed Igor Tudor until the end of the season, and the jury is out on whether he will even make it that long.

The decision to appoint an interim is largely based on the fact Spurs know that they cannot get most of their ideal managerial targets until the summer, with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Robbie Keane already having jobs.
Though, Robert De Zerbi, who is said to be the other coach of interest, is available but may want to hold off taking the job until the summer when he knows which division Tottenham will be playing in next season.
Tottenham are just one point above the relegation zone after their all-important late draw with Liverpool, and it’s far from certain that they will remain in the Premier League at this point.
One manager who might be interested in the job regardless of the league is former striker Robbie Keane. The Irishman has been heavily linked with the job given his past and his development as a manager.
Keane was never going to leave Ferencvaros this late in the season, with his side currently in a Europa League campaign, but that might change this summer.
And now Ferencvaros director Judit Berkesi has acknowledged as much. He told Ulloi: “This is actually the club’s merit in this respect, that we are already at a point where we can sell not only players well in certain cases, but also head coaches in the last two cases.
“It is certain that this possibility may also exist with Robbie in certain cases, despite the fact that he feels very good here, can really work in very good conditions, receives all the support that is possible, and the coaches can appreciate this as well.”
It sounds like Ferencvaros are very aware of the situation and potentially bracing themselves for an offer this summer. Though, it remains to be seen how high up Tottenham’s list Keane is.
