Tottenham Hotspur are still on the search for a first Premier League win of 2026 following a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Thomas Frank wasn’t helped by seeing captain Cristian Romero sent off for a reckless challenge after just 30 minutes, following a week in which the centre-back hit out at the club’s recent fitness worries.
Speaking after the match, the Spurs boss said: “I'm very happy with the players and what they're showing, I think they actually show a lot of resilience because it's very, very tough to get out there every week and don't get enough of the good results. We can't run away from that - we haven't won enough in the Premier League.
“We're just coming on the back end of four good games where we also showed a lot of resilience. Before that, we also did it, but we didn't get enough of the results when we turned around in the second half. So, I think there's still a lot to hang the hat on in terms of resilience but the performances need to be backed up with a little bit, do more, and get a little, keep doing the right things because then the results will show.”
The pressure continues to mount on Frank as Spurs slip down the table. LondonWorld looks at the latest odds to see who is being touted as a potential replacement for the former Brentford man.

5. Ruben Amorim - 8/1
The former Manchester United manager may feel he still has a point to prove in the Premier League having seen his tenure at Old Trafford cut short just as results started to improve. His departure was more due to a falling out with the board, rather than results. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

6. Xabi Alonso - 6/1
The Liverpool legend was sacked by Real Madrid last month having not hit the heights he managed at Bayer Leverkusen. The Spurs job would be his first in the Premier League but a stint at Anfield at some point in the future seems inevitable. | Liverpool FC via Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

7. Xavi - 5/1
The Barcelona and Spain legend has been out of work since leaving Barcelona in May 2024 but has also been linked with the vacancy at Manchester United. 8. Robbie Keane - 5/1
Ferencvaros boss Robbie Keane knows Tottenham Hotspur well thanks to his 306 appearances for the club. The 45-year-old has impressed with his coaching work abroad and is a name whose odds have become more favourable in recent weeks and has said he is 'aware' of the links. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
