Another Tottenham star 'wants to leave' after Cristian Romero amid interest from huge club
A Tottenham player reportedly wants to leave the club amid interest from abroad.
Tottenham seem to be spiralling as Thomas Frank and the club’s recruitment staff look to add players in the January transfer window. Spurs have fallen down to 14th in the table after a torrid run of form, and Frank is now under real pressure.

The Dane has struggled to find any sort of consistency following a bright start to the season, and he is not winning over supporters with his efforts.
Spurs may well remain patient given they only appointed Frank in the summer, and a sacking would be expensive, but as they continue to slip behind in the European race, a decision may need to be made if results do not start to turn.
For now, it seems Tottenham are concentrating on strengthening their ranks, with an attacking signing or two likely. Spurs have also had some defensive issues, and they could have more issues on their hands, with Cristian Romero having criticised club bosses on social media.
The now edited post originally read: “At times like this, it should be other people coming out to speak, but they don't - as has been happening for several years now. They only show up when things are going well, to tell a few lies."
Tottenham now have to deal with that issue, and to make matters worse, there are reports in Spain that Micky van de Ven wants to leave Tottenham in the not too distant future. Sport say Barcelona are interested in a move for van de Ven as they look to improve their back-line.
The report claims Van de Ven is ‘desperate to leave’ Tottenham and that he is a ‘dark horse’ to end up at Camp Nou. Barcelona are also said to be considering Marc Guehi, Nico Schlotterbeck and Alessandro Bastoni.
Bastoni is said to be the main target, but he is said to prove too expensive, reportedly priced at £69.4million. How much Tottenham would demand for Van de ven remains to be seen, but the Dutchman is valued at more than £55million by Transfermarkt, and under contract until 2029 and only 24 years of age, the actual price is likely to be higher than that.
Beyond the price, Tottenham view van de Ven as one of their best players, so the centre-back would have to really push for a move for any kind of switch to become a reality. Sport claim that Van de ven already wants to leave, but such reports are not uncommon at this time of year.
In any case, a summer move is far more likely, with Spurs very unlikely to sanction another major sale this month after allowing Brennan Johnson to leave in the opening days of the window.
