But the absence of dependable duo Pedro Porro and defender Destiny Udogie raised concerns ahead of the tough Premier League game this weekend. Udogie came off in the last 10 minutes of the game against Brighton and Hove Albion and has since not trained fully this week LondonWorld has been told.

The Italian defender has not been entirely ruled out of the game against Wolves but his absence from the training today further highlights the care with which the club is treating the knock he picked up over the weekend.

Fellow defender Pedro Porro has also not trained due to a muscular problem but again the club are not ruling him out of the game against Gary O'Neil's side with manager Postecoglou set to give an update in tomorrow's press conference. Last week, Spurs were boosted by the return of Yves Bissouma, Son Hueng-min and Pape Matar Sarr to the squad after the trio were out on international duty for the AFCON and Asian Cup.

Spurs vs Wolves

Tottenham come into the game after an impressive win over Brighton that took them back to the top four of the Premier League table while Wolves lost to Brentford and have lost forward Matheus Cunha to a long-term injury.

Spurs manager Postecoglou is determined to return the club to competing in the Champions League and knows that winning home games will be pivotal to achieving that goal at the end of the campaign.
