Antonio Conte is looking to build a team that will be competitive in the Premier League and Champions League, so they are not shutting the door on potential incomings.

This weekend there is a chance to record back-to-back victories in the Premier League when they travel to Nottingham Forest.

Fabio Paratici’s phone is still as busy as it was at the start of the transfer-window and even though the priority at the movement is to try and get players out to balance the books and trim the squad, he’s still keeping his eyes open for potential deals that can instantly make a good difference in the squad.

Players that Spurs are still being linked to who can add quality

The Lillywhites have been linked to Blackburn’s highly-rated defender Ashley Phillips even though the interest has cooled recently.

The defender is seen as a rising star in English football and has been monitored by both Manchester United and Newcastle recently.

He is likely to remain at Ewood Park unless something dramatic happens in the last days of the window, but at least Spurs have him in mind if they have to act.

Adama Traore has also been mentioned to be a player that Antonio Conte really likes, he came close to joining Spurs in the winter before opting for Barcelona.

The Spian international is back to Wolves after spending some time away even though he’s another who will only make the move if Spurs where to have an injury or someone in the squad left.

His profile and experience make him out to be an ideal Antonio Conte player due to the way the way the Italian manager likes to use the wing-backs.

Pau Torres is another player who has been hovering around Spurs this summer but the Villareal man is now likely to stay in Spain.

Players on their way out of Tottenham

Japhet Tanganga- The defender is itching for a move away from Spurs as he looks for more playing time. AC Milan and Nottingham Forest have all been linked.

Bryan Gil- The Spanish winger is on his way to Valencia. He joined Spurs last summer but has not been given consistent chances and there is a feeling that moving away will be in the best interest of everyone.

Harry Winks- Been frozen out this season and there are reports that he is attracting interest from Crystal Palace and even AS Roma who are now managed by Jose Mourinho.
