The Lille defender was linked with a move to St James Park during the January transfer window but a switch to the Magpies didn’t materialise.

The newspaper adds that the Italian is ‘demanding’ the club bring the Dutchman to north London as ‘an absolute priority’.

They claim that there is ‘pressure’ on Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to secure Botman’s signature before the Magpies, with a £30million price tag attached to his name.
However, despite Newcastle being ‘favourites’ to sign Botman this summer, if they fail to remain in the Premier League come May 22, it’s very unlikely they’ll be able to secure his services.

The site says that Fagan-Walcott, who made two appearances while on loan at Dundee last season before an injury cut his spell in Scotland short, is ‘highly-rated’ at the north London side.
They add that a ‘Spurs source’ has told them that a new deal with the defender is ‘close’ to being agreed as ‘talks are edging closer’.
The 19-year-old made his debut for the club’s first team during a 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the Champions League Round of 16 tie in 2020.
Tottenham sit seventh in the Premier League, five points behind fourth-place Manchester United but with two games in hand on Ralf Rangnick’s team.
