Bundesliga baller? AI drops Tottenham transfer prediction as Frank makes January window plans
Spurs have made a promising start to the season and AI has made a prediction about what they will do in the January transfer window.
Tottenham’s start to the season has been one of stability with only one defeat even if recent draws against Wolves and Bodo/Glimt have been frustrating.

Ange Postecoglou will be fondly remembered for delivering the Europa League trophy and a return to the Champions League too but the appointment of Thomas Frank has been the biggest signing of the summer. Currently in fourth place in the table and unbeaten in Europe too, the former Brentford boss has steadied the ship and added consistency to what was already a strong squad.
AI predicts Tottenham’s transfer window
New signings like Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani are still bedding in but Frank will be expected to go again in the transfer market in January for reinforcements due to a lengthy injury list. According to X’s AI bot Grok, this is the approach that Spurs are set to take: “Reports indicate Frank is targeting at least two signings, with a priority on defensive stability, and Daniel Levy's recent departure as chairman could unlock more flexible spending amid takeover speculation. Here's who I think Spurs are most likely to sign in January. My predictions factor in positional needs (centre-back and striker depth), budget realism (likely £100-150m total), and feasibility (e.g., player form, contract situations, and rival interest).
“Julian Brandt (Attacking Midfielder, from Borussia Dortmund) – Low-medium likelihood (40%) if budget stretches post-takeover talks, the 29-year-old German (£30-40m) could be a marquee addition. His vision and six goals and 16 assists last season suit Frank's fluid attack, and reports suggest Tottenham as his "attractive" Premier League option amid Dortmund's rebuild. But his high wages (£200k/week) and competition from Arsenal make it a stretch. Overall, I expect a pragmatic window: 2-3 incomings focused on defence and attack, with outgoings like Yves Bissouma (to West Ham) and possibly a Richarlison loan freeing up funds. This setup could propel Spurs to 4th-6th of May.“
Will Spurs change the habit of a lifetime in January?
One of the previous problems that Spurs fans had with the hierarchy was that they didn’t add quality from a position of strength, instead, they seemed to be happy with marking time and just doing enough rather than having aspirations to challenge for the Premier League title. It is all set to be a hard fought campaign given the amount of money that has been spent by the traditional bigger clubs and how much progress the likes of Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have made.
The encouraging thing for Frank, who has made a hint or two about transfers recently, is that he is still working with one hand tied behind his back in terms of the players who are missing though injury. The problem is, this doesn’t give the Spurs boss much room in terms of if any other players join the queue for the treatment room. If Spurs are to not only keep up with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City, the January window is every bit as important as the Summer one.
