Napoli star Piotr Zielinski is one of many Serie A players to have been linked with a move to Spurs this summer.

But it seems the 28-year-old is an unlikely signing this summer, pledging his future to Napoli amid the rumours.

He told Sky Sports Italy: “I don’t understand where these rumours come from, I don’t think my adventure at Napoli will end this summer. I have an important contract that will last another two years.

“In Naples, I feel good, even if somewhere I read the opposite. The desire to leave the club never came out of my mouth.

“Yes, I had a difficult period in the second half of the season but this does not jeopardise my stay in this team. I want to continue with Napoli because they are a great team.”
