Tottenham are set to have a busy summer after finishing in the top four and piping rivals Arsenal to a Champions League spot.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte will hope he can add some more quality to his side this window and attempt to chase down Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City next term.

The club has already announced the signing of Ivan Perisic who will add plenty of Champions League experience to the squad.

Here is the latest transfer news and rumours for Tottenham football club.

Forster deal official

Fabrizio Romano has announced that Spurs have officially signed goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a free transfer.

The Englishman has signed a two-year contract and will be the backup choice to Hugo Lloris after Pierluigi Gollini failed to make an impression last year.

Tottenham had been touted to have been interested in Sam Johnstone also but have opted to go for the more experienced 34-year-old.

Spurs favourites for McGinn

Tottenham are the favourites to sign Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn this summer, according to the latest betting odds.

The Scot has become one of the most consistent performers in the league since Villa were promoted back to the top-flight.

The 25-year-old is also linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, but Spurs will need a big offer to try and lure him away from Steven Gerrard and Villa.

McGinn may be tempted by the possibility of playing in the Champions League next season under Antonio Conte.

Spence to Spurs?

The Telegraph has reported that Spurs manager Conte is set to make a bid for Middlesbrough Djed Spence.

The young defender enjoyed a splendid season on loan at Nottingham Forest, helping them gain promotion into the Premier League.

Conte is keen to improve his backline at Spurs and Spence would do just that. The 21-year-old has earned plenty of admirers, but Tottenham are confident of securing him in a £15m deal.
