Tottenham addressed the press, and explained that Kane was supposed to take part in a museum launch today with BBC presenter Lineker, but pulled out feeling sick.

Kane has 16 goals this season and has formed another sensational partnership with South Korean forward Son Heung-min, who has scored 21 goals.

Tottenham are fourth in the league and will secure Champions League football for next season if they avoid defeat at Norwich while hot on their heels Arsenal, will take on Everton at the Emirates.

The England striker’s health has become a hot topic, with both Spurs and Arsenal fans keen on knowing if the deadly forward will be playing a part in the crucial game.

Manager Antonio Conte is expected to address the press ahead of the game against Norwich and will provide further updates on the health of his striker ahead of Sunday’s game.

There is no doubt though that Kane’s possible absence will be music to the ears of Arsenal fans, who are desperate for anything positive.
