Tottenham and Wales star Ben Davies says they have watched England and will have a plan to stop Gareth Southgate’s team when they face them in the crucial group game on Tuesday evening.  Wales need to win heavily and hope that the result between Iran and the USA ends in a draw.

England have won the last six meetings between them and Wales but Ben Davies who plays his football with Tottenham says he will use his experience to help his team. He also added that they have watched how the USA stopped the Lions and will apply some of the  good things they saw from the game.

The Spurs man said: “ We have to maybe look at what the USA did well to try and gain some sort of advantage.

“America played a very good game against England, and it’s not exactly like they’re a bad team.

“They caused England problems just like England caused America problems.

“It was quite an even game and it was probably one where no team gave too much away.I know some of the guys from playing together and yeah hopefully that will help us also in a way.”
