Inter Milan forward Perisic  has been lighting up the Serie A and was one of the stars of the Conte team that won the league title, and a reunion at Spurs is now just a matter of time.

Why Perisic will be a perfect for Tottenham

The forward has adjusted his game in recent times, and now plays as a wing-back to great success at Inter Milan.

Perisic bagged 10 goals and provided nine assists last season and his overall play has been quite a revelation for a 33-year-old who was an out-and-out attacker when he first arrived in Italy.

Spurs already have the pacey Sergio Reguilón and the promising Ryan Sessegnon as left-backs, with the Englishman particularly impressing in the last games of the season.

But the addition of Perisic’s experience and threat on the break will really leave opposition defenders chasing shadows and provide a real cutting edge.

The Croatian - who helped knock England out of the Russia World Cup in the semi finals - can play on both wings, or throughout the forward line.

Spurs are back in the Champions League and will like to stay there so the addition of people players with experience and pedigree will give their chances a massive boost.
