Tottenham interim manager Ryan Mason says he has a decision to make following the return to full fitness of midfielder Yves Bissouma for their final home game of the season.

Bissouma looked bright in the 30 minutes he played last weekend against Aston Villa and will look to build on that when they host Brentford in north London this weekend.

This season has been incredibly tough for the midfielder who impressed heavily during his time with Brighton and earned his big money move to the Lilywhites under Antonio Conte.

Spurs will be without Hugo Lloris, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Sessegnon but the return of Bissouma could be the difference that pushes the team into securing Europa League football next season.

Mason who has won just once since taking over from Cristian Stellini insists he’ll sleep over whether to start the Malian midfielder or continue to ease him in.

He told reporters: “I think when players train and they train fully then in my eyes they’re fit to play. We’ve got some decisions to make.

“It’s similar to last week. A couple are touch and go. We had a couple out last week that we’re assessing. We’ve got a session in a minute.”

Finishing in a Europa League spot could instantly make a huge difference when it comes to getting a permanent manager for the team and also play a massive role in attracting players in the summer.

Spurs will also hope that they keep striker Harry Kane who has continued to excel despite all the chaos at the club recently.
