Tonight’s clash with Arsenal could be Tottenham’s most important match in a very long time and is likely to decide whether they will have to settle for the Europa League next season.
The Gunners sit four points ahead of Spurs, with both teams currently still to play three games before the conclusion of the Premier League campaign.
If Antonio Conte’s side lose to they won’t be able to catch their North London rivals up, while a draw would also make achieving top four unlikely.
While it will no doubt be a very difficult clash for Tottenham, they have been handed a boost with the injuries to Arsenal’s squad.
Mikel Arteta will be without Thomas Partey, Kieran Tierney, Bukayo Saka and Ben White this evening - with the latter two a massive blow for the visitors.
Tottenham put on an excellent performance against Liverpool last time out, so while Conte opt to stick with the same team tonight?
Here is our predicted XI...
1. GK - Hugo Lloris
The club captain is one of the first names on the teamsheet for Tottenham and has been their first choice keeper for much of his time in London.
2. RWB - Emerson Royal
The Brazilian has been much improved in recent weeks from what had been a difficult start to life in the Premier League.
3. CB - Ben Davies
The Welshman put on a brilliant performance against Liverpool and Spurs will need him to be at his best again.
4. CB - Cristian Romero
The Argentine has been unbelievable under Conte and will no doubt continue in defence.
