Tottenham conceded two late goals at the Molineux stadium to fall to their second defeat in the league.

Brennan Johnson's first goal for Tottenham was not enough as two late goals from Wolves turned the game on its head and handed Ange Postecoglou's side another disappointing defeat.

The Lilywhites went into the game after their first league defeat but more damaging without four players who started the game against Chelsea on Monday night so that gave Eric Dier, Ben Davies, Emerson Royal and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg a start at a ground that is historically a difficult place for Tottenham.

Pape Matar Sarr, Dejan Kulusevski, Pedro Porro and Brennan Johsn combined to give Spurs the lead and Wolves gave this a good fight, creating the most chances in the first half and more than did enough to at least go level.

This was always going to be a game that tested Tottenham's mettle and Ange Postecoglou made early changes, bringing in the returning Rodrigo Bentancur for Sarr in the seond half.

Bryan Gil replaced Bissouma while there were minutes for Giovani Lo Celso in a show of depth from Tottenham's Australian manager.

But as Spurs thought they they had gotten all three points Pablo Sarabia equalised for the home side before Mario Lemina got the winner for the Wolves

This was a fascinating game that required a lot of effort to see through but in the end, Spurs fell short and Wolves got all three points.
