Tottenham player ratings vs West Ham: 'outstanding' 7/10 but 'quiet' 5/10 for star in 1-1 draw

Tottenham player ratings from their Premier Leage game against West Ham United.

Tottenham missed the chance to go fourth in the Premier League following a 1-1 draw with West Ham in the rain in east London. The Lilywhites opened the scoring through Brennan Johnson but Kurt Zouma responded for the home side.

It was Tottenham who had the perfect start, almost the picture manager Ange Postecoglou would have had when he dropped Dejan Kulusevski for Johnson with the Welsh forward tapping in the opener from Timo Werner's cross for the opening goal. That was his fifth goal since joining the club from Nottingham Forest in the summer.

That goal was Tottenham's first goal in the first half of a game in months and gave them the platform to go on and win the game, but West Ham who looked rattled in midfield slowly found their feet. Wingers Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen tacking in to out number James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur in midfield for Spurs.

So the Hammers started to ask their own question and Kurt Zouma found the equaliser, heading home the equaliser from a Bowen corner even though replays schowed he used his back, he wouldn't mind.

Michael Antonio then had West Ham's best chance in the second half but the Jamaican forward rushed his shot and Vicario in post for Spurs gathered. Tottenham had most of the ball but not really making good use of it or hurting the Hammers who defended briliantly in the second half.

The game levelled out and both settled for a point, here is how we rated the Tottenham players out there today.
