Tottenham picked up a precious point at Old Trafford after an entertaining 2-2 draw against Manchester United in the Premier League. The north London side dominated possession but United were clinical which meant both teams shared the points.
The Lilywhites had to come from behind twice in the game, Richarlison scoring to cancel out a Rasmus Højlund effort. Spurs were playing like the home side, creating chances and forcing Manchester United into playing on the break.
And that is how Marcus Rashford scored his goal, finishing off a brilliant ball after some mix-up in the Tottenham defence to restore his team's lead. That was the England striker's first goal at Old Trafford in 15 outings and it put the hosts ahead going into the break.
Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was next to respond with a splendid strike early in the second half which quietened the home fans. United manager Erik ten Hag charged his team to show character ahead of the game, but they were second best here, with Spurs cutting them open and teaching them a lesson on how to maintain possession.
Brennan Johnson, Richarlison and Timo Werner all had chances to put Spurs ahead but a combination of poor finishing, and good defending from the home side meant both teams got something and lost something from the game.
