Tottenham player ratings from their Europa League win against AZ Alkmaar at North London.

Richarlison announced his return to the starting eleven with a goal that set Tottenham on their way to their third straight win in the Europa League. In a game of tight margins, Spurs were slow in the first half, but they will be delighted to have secured the 1-0 win they came for.

AZ Alkmaar didn't have many chances, but they forced Fraser Forster into a smart save halfway through the second half. Spurs managed the game well to ensure the victory was secured.

On a night when Mikey Moore had fans on the edge of their seats and threatened to score every time he was on the ball, here is how we rated the Spurs players as they made it three wins out of three in the Europa League:

Fraser Forster - 6

Didn’t have a lot to do but had to stay vigilant, which he did. Credit to him for pulling off a good save in the second half.

Archie Gray - 6

Solid without being spectacular or overly expansive.

Radu Dragusin - 6

Strong and composed, a marked improvement from his first Europa League game for the club.

Ben Davies - 7

Used all his experience and controlled the backline very well.

Destiny Udogie - 6

Lively in a game where he wasn't tested much defensively.

Lucas Bergvall - 7

Won the penalty that Richarlison converted. Hopefully, the hamstring injury is not too serious.

Rodrigo Bentancur - 6

Effective and covered a lot of ground when needed.

James Maddison - 7

Relinquished the penalty, even though he wanted to take it. Looked much more threatening in the second half.

Mikey Moore - 8

Made his home debut and showed why fans are so excited about him. Brilliant in that second half.

Timo Werner - 5

A disappointing evening for the German forward again. His confidence appears to be lacking.

Richarlison - 7

Scored his first of the season from the spot.

Tested the goalkeeper when he came on but didn't do much else.

Eager to score but didn't get many opportunities.

Instantly added a cutting edge to the team when he came on.
