Fraser Forster-5

The Spurs goalkeeper had little to do in the first half but looked nervous when kicking or trying to play from the back. He did pull off a very good save to deny Brahim Diaz early in the second half.

Ben Davies-5

Davies was aggressive when defending and not surprisingly played his role quite well even when the team changed to a back four late on. Not many of his teammates matched his performance.

Clement Lenglet-5.5

The defender had a brilliant interception on a Theo Hernandez cross to deny Oliver Giroud an easy tap in early in the first half.

Cristian Romero-2

A rushed challenge on Leao early on saw him yellow carded, his 20th yellow card in 54 appearances for Tottenham. That restricted his aggressiveness and undeniably had an impact on his over-all output, before recklessly picking up a second yellow to leave his team with a mountain to climb.

Ivan Perisic-4

Quiet game and was withdrawn early in the second half. Looked to have taken a knock.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg-5

Defensively very good but then he’s just not creative so Spurs need a creative player to play alongside him to get the best out of him. His energy and drive brought a save from Maignan in the second half.

Oliver Skipp-5

The young midfielder had a slow start to the game with a few wayward passes when on the ball. He improved his urgency and accuracy in the first half even though the creativity was still lacking.

Emerson Royal-4

The Brazilian looks like he’s Antonio Conte’s first choice right-wing back and he started the the game brightly.

Son Heung-min-4

The South Korean preferred to Richarlison again had a slow start and desperately showed he wanted to help the team but at the moments it’s just not happening for him.

Dejan Kulusevski-4

The Swede seems to have run out of form at the business end of the season. Most of his crosses were over hit or just didn’t find their target. He just doesn’tlook like the same player firing on all cylinders when he first arrived in north London.

Harry Kane-5

Kane dropped deep and deep as the first half progressed because he had absolutely no service whatsoever. Not much changed even though they went to a back. Pulled a broiling save from Maignan late on.

Pedro Porro- 5

Brought energy off the bench, made such a big difference by just being proactive.

Richarlison-4

Started well after his introduction but then the sending off of Romero left his team a man short.

Davinson Sanchez-4

Thought he won a penalty with his with his first touch did nothing after that.
