We rate the players from Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Wolves.

Tottenham were forced to settle for a draw at home to Wolves on Sunday, coming from behind to lead only to concede an equaliser three minutes from time, extending their winless run to three.

Spurs went behind within seven minutes, although there wasn’t a whole lot they could have done to prevent Hwang hee-Chan’s superb strike from a free-kick routine, the ball cannoning in off the inside of the post.

What Ange Postecoglou’s men could control was getting back into the game, and they did, with Rodrigo Bentancur firing home a corner. Brennan Johnson then forced his way through three minutes into first half stoppage time before playing a one-two with Dejan Kulusevski and firing home.

Tottenham were much improved at the back for much of the game, but they were caught out late with a neat through ball and a superb Strand Larsen finish.

Fraser Forster - 6

Nothing he could have done about the Wolves opener. A super strike. Much the same for the second goal, which was smashed into the roof of the net at the speed of light. An improved display on the whole.

Destiny Udogie (Off at 50’) - 6

Steady enough defensively. He didn’t do a whole lot going forward, but Spurs needed to be better at the back, so his defensive duties rightly came first here. Udogie came off with what looked to be a hamstring issue.

Archie Gray - 5

Steady on the whole, though he and Dragusin still need more time together to find a balance. They get pulled across the pitch too easily at times. Gray was given the slip for the second goal. You have to feel for Gray, who remains out of his best position and at such a young age.

Radu Dragusin - 6

The same as above, but this was a big improvement on the Liverpool game, albeit the Forest game was also a step forward generally. Credit to him for bouncing back from what was a disastrous display on that occasion.

Pedro Porro - 6

Did well in the build up to the second goal. Got forward more than Udogie. Porro does drift too far inside at times, but that could be a symptom of the middle two not keeping their shape well enough.

Rodrigo Bentancur - 6

An impressive effort for the leveller. Solid on the ball.

Yves Bissouma (Off at 63’) - 6

Bissouma didn’t see a great deal of the ball, but he was steady in the middle.

Brennan Johnson (Off at 63’) - 8

Did well to get to the ball and position his body to win the penalty. Excellent work in the build up to the second goal and he topped it off by getting back on the end of a Kulusevski pass and producing a nice finish. Johnson was Tottenham’s most dangerous player and was perhaps unlucky to come off, but it was likely a case of getting him rest amid a busy schedule.

Dejan Kulusevski - 6

Did well to create the second goal, providing a neat pass for Johnson. He was also unlucky not to get a goal of his own in the 80th minute when he rounded Jose Sa. Kulusevski also created a chance for Sarr late on, firing in a fine cross from the right. But he loses a point for incredibly lazy pressing for the second goal, meandering towards Rayan Ait-Nouri, which allowed him to take his time and pick out what was a superb through ball to find Larsen.

Heung-min Son (Off at 63’) - 4

Missed a penalty. A good save but it was, as they say, at the keeper’s height. In general play, Son wasn’t effective in general play here, struggling to get into the game.

Dominic Solanke - 5

Good movement at times but not his best game. Solanke had a good chance to score when breaking down the left in the second half but he fluffed it with poor footwork.

Sergio Reguilon (On at 50’) - 6

Not at fault for the second goal and generally solid. The Spaniard did get forward at times, too.

Timo Werner (On at 63’) - 6

Busy as always and managed to get on the ball more than Son. Though, Tottenham struggled to break down a solid Wolves back-line in the second half. Werner would have liked to have a bigger impact, but Spurs looked leggy in the build-up in the second half, and that didn’t help the attacking players.

James Maddison (On at 63) - 5

Not particularly effective here and will be disappointed with his performance off the bench.

Some nice play on the ball and the odd winding run on the ball. Missed a good headed chance in stoppage time, but it was in no way a gimme.
