Tottenham player ratings and photos vs Eintracht Frankfurt as 5 players get 4/10

Tottenham were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Tottenham produced an improved performance against  Eintracht Frankfurt but could only walk away with a point after failing to find the back of the net.

Antonio Conte’s side went into the game after the derby defeat to Arsenal and were looking for an instant reaction- but they could only settle for a point.

The Italian manager reminded everyone that he was boss by sticking to the team that lost against Arsenal in hope that they would get him the win he needed, but in the end, Eintracht Frankfurt were worthy owners of the point they got .

English striker Harry Kane lasted the entire duration but services to him were far and few between as the Lillywhites found it hard breaking up Eintracht Frankfurt’s defence.

Son Heung-min, last season Premier League Golden Boot winner has found it hard in the early stages of the season and today was another off day in the office as he hurriedly went in search of his first Champions League goal of the campaign but to no avail.

There are questions being asked about the style of play at Tottenham and results like these will only amplify those who think that the team isn’t particularly going places despite the early promise under Antonio Conte.

In the end, Tottenham have played three Champions League games, won one, lost one and now drew one. Goalless in Germany.

They will now turn attention to their weekend Premier League game against Brighton and Hove Albion as they seek a return to winning ways.

So with yet another lethargic display- here is how we rated the Spurs players who were out there today.
