Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest final injury update as 2 ruled out, 3 doubts and 1 passed fit
All the final injury news surrounding Tottenham and Nottingham Forest as the two sides prepare to face off in the Premier League.
Tottenham are back in action on Monday night when they face Champions League hopefuls Nottingham Forest, who have now dropped to fourth, although they know they only need to finish in the top five to secure a spot in UEFA’s premier competition.

Spurs can also get into next season’s Champions League, but exclusively from the Europa League, needing to win the competition. First comes a date with Forest, and Ange Postecoglou knows they will be a tough nut to crack, saying in his pre-match press conference: “They've been really consistent with their approach and obviously they've got massive motivation. It looks like the Champions League spots are going to be very, very competitive in these last few games and I'm sure that's something that they want to be a part of next year. So it'll be a good test for us.”
Here we round up the injury news surrounding both teams going into this one.
Ola Aina - Doubt
Forest boss Santo said ahead of this game: “They were not with the group and are still carrying some problems. We have to assess them. It is going to be day by day.”
Taiwo Awoniyi - Doubt
The same update was also issued in relation to Awoniyi.
Chris Wood - Fit
Wood is back but Santo has said he needs to manage the striker’s minutes after a period out. The Forest boss said: "We have to manage Chris. He has been out for a while. Everton was good but not as good as we want. We are positive that on Monday he will be better."
Heung-min Son - Out
Postecoglou has confirmed that Son will be absent, saying: "He's been dealing with a foot problem for a while, so now is as good a time as any to give him the right time to to get over it. He'll definitely miss Monday.
"It's been something he's been dealing with for a little while and it got to the point where not only it wasn't improving, but it was deteriorating, and it's one of these things where rest is going to be as important as anything else with that kind of injury. So, we'll give him that time. Sonny is the kind of guy who always wants to train, so we'll put him on ice for the next few days and see how he responds to that."
Radu Dragusin - Out
Dragusin is out for the rest of the season and likely a chunk of next term with an ACL injury. Postecoglou confirmed at the time: “Radu underwent surgery today following his ACL injury. That procedure has now been completed, and the centre-back will now commence with his recovery before beginning the rehab process.”
James Maddison - Doubt
There was a scare when Maddison was clattered in the Frankfurt game, leading to a withdrawal later on. Postecoglou said before this one: "It's fair to say he'll probably be a bit sore, so he's probably a doubt for Monday. The rest of the group, again, they all worked hard, so they'll be sore, but they should all be okay for Monday night.”
