'Without ruling anything out.': Ange Postecoglou shares big Tottenham transfer update ahead of deadline day

Tottenham manager Ange Posteccoglou says it's highly unlikely the club will bring in another player before the transfer window shuts tomorrow. The Lilywhites did their bussiness early, bringing in German forward Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin to plug the gaps and bolster the team.
There had been interest in Antonio Nusa but it looks like he'll be heading to Brentford after they agreed a deal with Club Brugge. Asked if he was looking to bring another signing before the deadline, Postecoglou said: "Look, unlikely I'd say. I don't see any incomings. Outgoings are a little bit different because I'm not totally engaged with that, other people are doing the work around that. I'd say unlikely on both fronts without ruling anything out."

Tottenham vs Brentford preview
Tottenham have lost just one of their past nine league games against Brentford (W3 D5), though that defeat did come in this fixture last season. Manager Postecoglou is hoping that they can put the disappointing FA Cup defeat to Manchester City behind them and keep their push for a top-four finish alive.
Brentford have Ivan Toney back and he'll look to make up for lost time, he scored on his return to Premier League action against Nottingham Forest last time out. He's alternated between not scoring (eight) and scoring (eight) in his past 16 league appearances.
