The youngster spent last term on loan in the Championship at Nottingham Forest and helped the Reds gain promotion to the Premier League.

Steve Cooper’s side are keen to bring him back but Conte is ‘interested’ in luring him down to London, according to a report by the Manchester Evening News.

Serie A man linked

Tottenham are being linked with a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbia international has been on the books of his current club since 2015 and has scored 58 goals in 295 games to date.

CalcioMercatoWeb claim Spurs are admirers of him, with Juventus also mentioned as a potential suitor.

Conte on his passion

Conte’s celebrations sparked trouble in the techical area yesterday.

The Italian is known to celebrate goals with passion but it sometimes can land him into trouble with opposition managers.

When asked about this he said, as per Football London:

“In every job that people do you have to love your job, you have to love your work and to show the passion. If the people understand this and the fans see this it’s good, it’s good. And you can take big achievement if you have big passion in your job.”
