The Brazilian bagged 10 goals for a relegation-threatened Everton side and provided five assists last season.
He was the one of the engineers as Everton fought immensely to stay in the Premier League.
But while Wilshere admitted that the Brazilian is a good player, he isn’t worried about the forward joining Arsenal’s north London rivals.
He told TalkSport: “I think he improves the squad, definitely… he gives them something different.
“I wouldn’t say I’m gutted [he’s not signed for Arsenal].”
But the former midfield maestro said if there’s any manager who can get the best out of Richarlison - it’s Spurs boss Antonio Conte.
“He’s 25, so not young. There comes a point where you’re going to have to turn that potential into something,” Wilshere said.
“But to be fair if any one can do it, it’s Antonio Conte.
“I wouldn’t say I’m devastated as an Arsenal fan but he could be one to watch, he could be really good.
“Yeah but I don’t think he gets in the XI. He’d definitely challenge for it and be a good part of the squad but I don’t think he gets in the XI.”
