Signings have already been made this season, with Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic among those already through the doors.

And more signings will be desired, while Spurs may also look to trim the edges of their squad with departures this summer.

As the transfer action continues, we have rounded up all the latest news and rumours from the white corner of north London.

Spence talks

Tottenham are said to have entered talks with Middlesbrough over the signing of Djed Spence.

The full-back is a hot property this summer after helping Nottingham Forest win promotion during a loan spell last summer.

And according to Sky Sports, Spurs have entered their second round of talks with Middlesbrough over a deal.

The report claims Daniel Levy is leading the talks to allow Fabio Paritici to continue to work on other deals.

Bergwijn exit talks

Tottenham are also said to be in talks over the sale of winger Steven Bergwijn.

According to Football Insider, Spurs are open to selling the Dutchman this summer, and they have already entered talks with Ajax.

According to the report, Tottenham will not drop their asking price of £26million, though, and that has the potential to cause issues.

Despite that, it’s claimed a breakthrough is close in the talks and a deal could well be on the cards this summer.

The 24-year-old is under contract until 2025 as things stand, so it’s no surprise Levy is playing hardball over his fee.

Spurs signed the winger from PSV for around £27m in 2020, and Tottenham clearly want to make back all their money two years later.
