A Tottenham Hotspur target is 'expected' to move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur target Antonio Nusa is expected to make a move to the Premier League in the summer after a deal between Club Brugge and Spurs broke down in January, according to a recent report from Football Insider.

Nusa received bids from both Spurs and fellow London club Brentford towards the end of the January transfer window, but neither deal came to fruition. The Bees reportedly had a bid of £25 million accepted for the player, but the move broke down after issues were said to have arisen during his medical.

Currently, Nusa seems poised to join Brentford in the summer. However, this could all change in an instant - Spurs aren't the only other interested party, as Chelsea are also thought to be lurking. Bringing the 18-year-old to Stamford Bridge would align with Todd Boehly's transfer policy, as his propensity for signing young attacking players is well-documented at this point.

What would Antonio Nusa add to Tottenham's squad?

A young, dynamic attacking midfielder who can occupy multiple position, Nusa is certainly one for the future. It may be difficult for him to break into the first team initially, purely because the Lilywhites already have a surplus of talented wingers and attacking midfielders in their squad.

With players such as Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Manor Solomon, Bryan Gil and Brennan Johnson to contend with, Nusa will face sturdy competition if he chooses to make the jump to North London in the summer. Age is on his side, though - with three goals and two assists in 16 league games this season, his potential seems limitless at this fledgling stage in his footballing career.

Additionally, with Ange Postecoglou's exciting brand of attacking football, it seems he would be the perfect head coach to get the best out of Nusa - he could prove to be an excellent influence on him in his formative years.
