Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 2-0 away at Sporting Lisbon last time out.

They have picked up three points from their opening two Champions League games so far.

Target on new deal possibility

Tottenham were linked with Roma ace Nicolo Zaniolo throughout the summer transfer window.

The Italy international ended up staying in Serie A beyond the deadline though.

He has now opened up about the speculation and has addressed talk about a new deal, as per reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

“It was a normal summer for me. It always seems that I’m on the verge of leaving AS Roma and then... I’m always here. This club gave me everything.

“New deal? We still have one year and half to discuss about it”.

Conte linked with exit

Antonio Conte has been a hit since becoming manager at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The former Chelsea man has brought the feel-good factor back to the club and has guided them back into the Champions League.

However, Italian journalist Paolo Bargiggia has reported that he could be on his way back to Italy next summer with Juventus.

New Chelsea boss Graham Potter is said to have his eyes on Harry Kane.

The England ace has been Spurs’ main man up front over recent years.

According to Italian news outlet CalcioMercatoWeb, the Blues are interested in luring him to Stamford Bridge in what would be a surprise switch.
