Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada. The attacking midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is currently due to become a free agent in late June as things stand.

According to 90min, Antonio Conte’s side are ‘keeping tabs’ on his situation between now and the summer. However, they aren’t the only club in the frame for his signature and will have to face competition from all over Europe.

Fellow Premier League sides such as Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United have been mentioned as potential suitors. Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and PSG have also been linked.

Spurs could see Kamada as someone to bolster their options going forward next term. He has been a key player for Frankfurt since his move there in 2017 from Sagan Tosu and could fancy a new challenge in another country.

He has made 159 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit and has chipped in with 37 goals, 13 of which have come this season. The Japan international, who was at the World Cup in Qatar earlier this winter, helped his current club win the Europa League last year after they beat Rangers in the final.
