Tottenham Hotspur are still interested in landing Wolves’ Adama Traore but will face competition for his signature. The winger was linked with Antonio Conte’s side in the last summer transfer window but ended up staying at Molinuex.

According to a report by 90min, Spurs remain keen on luring him to North London but will face a ‘battle’ to get him from other clubs. Fellow Premier League side Leeds United have been credited with an interest, whilst European trio Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

Conte could see Troare as someone to bolster his side on the right-hand flank. Djed Spence, who joined from Middlesbrough in July, has struggled for game time since his switch and the Spain international could provide an alternative option to both him and Emerson Royal.

Spurs are currently 4th in the table and are three points ahead of Manchester United in 5th position. They have the opportunity to bolster their ranks in January ahead of an important second-half of the season.

Traore would inject some serious pace into their squad and has proven himself in the Premier League over recent years. The former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough man joined Wolves in 2018 and has since made 168 appearances for them in all competitions, chipping in with 18 goals. He had a loan spell at Barcelona last term and played 17 times for the La Liga giants before heading back to his parent club.
