Tottenham and Chelsea ‘eye’ international defender, Manchester United ‘open talks’ with £70m Spurs target

Tottenham Hotspur have already been one of the busier clubs in the Premier League having agreed deals for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and Southampton’s Fraser Forster.

Now that the summer transfer window is officially open there are plenty more deals to be done and the North London club are expected to continue adding to their current squad.

With a Champions League campaign on the horizon, Antonio Conte will be looking to add as much quality as possible to his ranks over the next few months.

Spurs, Chelsea & Man City targeting Brighton full back

Brighton and Hove Albion left back Marc Cucurella is attracting interest from several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, according to 90min.

Manchester City and Chelsea are said to have joined Spurs in monitoring the 23-year old Spanish international’s situation after an impressive season with Graham Potter’s Seagulls.

Cucurella would be seen as an ideal fit for Antonio Conte’s system due to his ability to play at both left back and as a left sided centre half, something the Italian has asked Ben Davies to do during his time in North London.

The former Barcelona B player only joined Brighton last summer, but had an impressive debut season in English football, making 38 appearances across all competitions.

Manchester United to open talks with Rashford

In other news, Football.London are reporting that Manchester United are set to hold talks with England international Marcus Rashford, who is a reported target for Spurs.

Antonio Conte is keen to add more depth to his attacking options but the reported £70m price tag that United have put on the 24-year old’s head could prevent any deal being done.

The Manchester native is understood to be keen on a move away from Old Trafford but it looks like the Red Devils will try and convince their youth academy product to stay.

Finally, a report from the Express claims that the Tottenham boss is keen on a move for Inter Milan striker Laturo Martinez.

The Italian coach wants to move for the Argentina international after being snubbed by his teammate Alessandro Bastoni who snubbed interest from the Premier League side in favour of remaining in Milan.

Spurs have already secured the signing of Ivan Perisic from the San Siro club.
