Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher has no intention of pushing through an exit from Stamford Bridge this winter. The England international, who is 23-years-old, still has a couple of years left on his contract with the Premier League side.

According to Football Insider, he is ‘happy’ with the Blues and has no plans to leave amid interest from fellow London clubs Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham ahead of the January transfer window. He was linked with the pair over the summer but ended up staying put beyond the deadline earlier this month.

Tottenham have made a strong start to the new season following Ange Postecoglou’s arrival from Celtic and could see the Epsom-born man as someone who would further strengthen their ranks. They beat Sheffield United 2-1 at home this weekend after two late goals.

West Ham, on the other hand, lost 3-1 at home to Manchester City. The Hammers still have cash to splash after selling Declan Rice for big-money to Arsenal and may see Gallagher as a potential marque signing down the line.

However, for now it appears he is satisfied where he is. He has been on the books at Chelsea for his whole career to date and rose up through their academy ranks.

Gallagher was a regular for the Blues at various youth levels before heading out the exit door on loan to Charlton Athletic, Swansea City, West Brom and Crystal Palace to gain experience. He has since made 50 appearances for his current club and has scored three goals.
