Tottenham Europa League parade: Brilliant scenes as jubilant fans on phone boxes and traffic lights in 41 amazing photos

Tottenham fans were out in their thousands on the streets of North London on Friday night

Tottenham Hotspur fans and players revelled in the club’s Europa League victory as they paraded their European trophy through the streets of North London on Friday night.

Brennan Johnson’s first half goal in Bilbao was enough to beat Premier League rivals Manchester United and earn Ange Postecoglou his promised trophy in his second season at the club. The win has also earned them a spot in the Champions League alongside North London rivals Arsenal.

"We've got a really young group of players," the Spurs boss said after Wednesday's victory. "You can talk to them about success and what it means but until they feel it, it doesn't become real.

"I've got no doubt that all those boys, after having this feeling, they will want it again. To get it again they will need to make similar sacrifices. They have climbed the mountain now and know what it takes to get to where we are. I think that accelerates the opportunities to build a team and make it successful and make it competitive at the highest level for years to come.

"I think there is still a lot of work to be done, that's obvious, but not as much work as people may think. People may bang on about the 20 league defeats but they are missing the point of what we are trying to build here. I really feel that this can be a great platform for us to kick on."

The win ended a 17-year wait for a trophy and fans were keen to soak in the joy as they turned out in their droves to watch the squad on the open-top bus on Friday night. We have picked out plenty of photos from the celebrations - can you spot yourself or anybody you know?
