Tottenham transfer news: Spurs ‘considering’ swoop for £17.2m ex-Man Utd star, West Ham learn fate of ‘£19.8m’ midfielder bid
Tottenham have wrapped up the signing of Richarlison as Antonio Conte continues to strengthen his team - and rival manager Pep Guardiola has already had his say on the Brazilian.
The fiery hitman scored 10 goals and provided five assists as Everton survived Premier League relegation, leading from the front as Frank Lampard’s side put in a fight to stay up.
The forward became Tottenham’s fourth summer transfer after Antonio Conte’s side already signed Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma.
The Brazilian also happens to be highly-rated by some of the best managers in the game and Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola has in the past spoken highly of the forward, even when he was just starting out at Everton.
Last season, the Premier League winning manager said: “Richarlison did so well with Watford, then when Marco Silva went to Everton, he brought him with him.
“He is a top player, very fast and goes right and left, that’s why they paid a lot of money for him.”
