Tottenham confirmed line-up vs Manchester United: Two changes from XI against Brentford

Tottenham have beaten Manchester United once in their last nine meetings but with ANGE POSTECOGLOU unbeaten in his last 38 home games-there is hope and optimism.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is hoping to do what Antonio Conte could not do by beating Manchester United with their only win coming in the 6-1 thrashing of the Red Devils 6-1 under Jose Mourinho in 2020.

Spurs are learning to cope without Harry Kane and needed a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Brentford to instil belief following the departure of their talisman and goal machine. They will now have to try and go one further with a win against Manchester United.

Rodrigo Bentancur, Fraser Forster, Bryan Gil and Ryan Sessegnon are still sidelined, but there is good in that Richarlison, Son Heung-min and Kulusevski are all starting.

Ange Postecoglou was unbeaten in all 38 of his home league matches as manager of Celtic, with his team scoring 113 goals in those games so he will be confident going into this one. Tottenham fans are demonstrating against owners after what has been a difficult last 12 months at the club, a win here will calm nerves.

Last season, the Lilywhites finished eighth in the Premier League, their worst finish in the league since 2010 and there is a sense that there is little direction following the appointment of Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.

The arrival of Postecoglou is expected to herald a new dawn and fans will hope that their players are up to the task for what is expected to be an absolute entertaining 90 minutes of football in north London.

Below is the starting lineup the Australian manager has put up for the game:
