Tottenham team news ansd predicted eleven ahead of the Europa League game against AZ Alkmaar.

Tottenham will return to Europe on Thursday night with their tails high after beating West Ham 4-1 in the league, getting their domestic campaign back on track. They will now hope to record back-to-back wins in Europe after they beat Qarabag in the first game of their European journey. This season, Ange Postecoglou has vowed to end the club’s 16-year wait for a trophy by assuring everyone that wherever he’s been, he’s always won trophies.

To be fair to him, since he said that, his team has progressed in the League Cup, where they will face Manchester City next Wednesday night. They have also won in the Europa League to boost their chances of progression, and they have moved from 10th to 7th on the league table, showing progress across the board.

So, ahead of the game tomorrow, here is the predicted team we anticipate the Spurs boss will name for Thursday night.

Goalkeeper and Defenders

Postecoglou rarely changes goalkeepers, so you’d expect that Guglielmo Vicario will continue, but Radu Dragusin could partner with Cristian Romero, who has had a quiet start to the season. The full-backs are also likely to see a total change, with Ben Davies, who hasn't played much, likely coming in for Destiny Udogie, while Archie Gray takes the spot of the energetic Pedro Porro.

Midfielders

The Spurs boss likes to swap midfielders when he plays in Europe, so there is a huge chance that he will start Rodrigo Bentancur instead of Yves Bissouma. Pape Sarr, who had a massive impact against West Ham, will also start, along with a return for the struggling James Maddison, who was substituted at half-time.

Forwards

Brennan Johnson is playing well, and there’s no reason to drop him as they will want to keep his confidence high. Captain Son Heung-min will hope to build up his confidence as well, alongside the always-improving Mikey Moore, who started the last European game.

Vicario, Davies, Gray, Dragusin, Romero, Sarr, Bentancur, Maddison, Son, Johnson, and Moore.
