Tottenham are looking to hold talks with Eberechi Eze this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

According to an exclusive report by FootballTransfers, these talks are expected to commence within the next two weeks. Eze, who has been in stellar form, anticipates that Crystal Palace will honour a gentleman’s agreement allowing him to depart this summer if a suitable offer is received.

According to LondonWorld sources, the midfielder has been assured by the Palace board that if a club meets his £60million valuation inserted in his clause, he’d be allowed to leave the club with Spurs reportedly ready to trigger it.

Sources have also added that the £60million is not a release clause but a valuation with the club and players having a gentle agreement which allows him to leave after spending two seasons at the club.

Eze was outstanding again despite injuries

The English midfielder has continued to go from strength to strength under Oliver Glasner and contributed nine Premier League goals in his last 12 appearances as the Eagles finished a challenging season on a high and impressive 10th.

Meanwhile, Palace are close to securing Daichi Kamada, a 27-year-old free agent, potentially as a replacement for Eze or his teammate Michael Olise.
