The five players 'set' to leave Tottenham this summer including £53.8m signing

Tottenham will have to clean up their house in the summer as they look to shape the squad to fit what Ange Postecoglou wants.

Ange Postecoglou’s second season at Tottenham will see some players say goodbye to the club as he continues to shape the squad to mirror the kind of football he wants to play in north London.

Spurs have a number of important players who could generate the club some good money who are out on loan. They also have those who are with the club but have played little and have hinted they might be better off elsewhere.

For example, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has not hidden his desire to play more and LondonWorld sources say the midfielder is set to leave in the summer if his minutes on the field do not improve.

Last week while on international duty, he told the Danish press: “Of course, I’m not happy with what’s going on at the club. It’s not a secret, but it’s also not something I’m screaming about.

“I can go to bed at night knowing that I have done what I need to show the coach he has to believe in me. This is not the case at the moment, and it is the coach who has to explain why.”

The same can be said of Sergio Reguilon who has had two loan spells in a season under Postecoglou. Asked what his situation and future at Spurs might be the Spanish left-back said: ”I didn’t understand and still don’t understand the situation”.

“During pre-season, I was very happy and Postecoglou was happy with me, also the staff. I was playing like a normal player, all the games”.

Then there is Tanguy Ndombele who was signed by the club for £53.8m from Lyon in the French League three seasons ago. So with a lot of uncertainties around some players, below is the list of those who are likely to leave.
