Tottenham Hotspur stars Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal teamed up in hilarious fashion to rib teammate Son Heung-min after the forward shared photos of a new Calvin Klein campaign.

Son stripped down to his underpants as part of a new Calvin Klein underwear ad and shared a series of raunchy photos online that marked a clear departure from the usual footballing content.

The winger posted seven photos in total where he poses on an armchair, plays with his briefs and stares intensely down the camera.

Son's modelling career sparked quite the response from teammates and fans alike with the post nearing a whopping two million likes in 24 hours.

Whilst many of the 30-year-old's 11.5 million Instagram followers swooned in the comments, the pals he sees every day at training couldn't pass up the opportunity for a light ribbing.

Cristian Romero led the banter with a comment insisting that: "I am 100% sure this is Photoshop."

It didn't take long for Emerson Royal to chuckle at the comment and add his agreement, "without doubt, bro".

Over 13,000 fans liked Romero's comment and there were more Premier League stars who swung by the comment section to get in on the act.

Fellow South Korean international and Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan picked up on the extra payday Son would have got for posing in the photo and shared a series of money-faced smileys.

Meanwhile, teammate Pedro Porro shared his approval, ex-Spurs full-back Sergio Reguilon said he had "no words" and Serge Aurier tagged well-known Premier League joker Moussa Sissoko to get in on the act.

Despite making headlines off the pitch, Son has failed to impress as much as expected on the field for Spurs so far this season.

The winger has just five Premier League goals to his name this term with only two coming since August.

Antonio Conte's side next face an away trip to Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Wednesday evening after an important 2-0 win against London rivals Chelsea on Sunday.
