Richarlison, Pedro Porro and Udogie: Tottenham injuries and return dates as key man is ruled out for months

Tottenham have suffered a devastating injury blow ahead of Arsenal with Destiny Udogie ruled for months.

Tottenham have had two weeks to prepare for their North London derby against Arsenal this weekend and will hope to land a blow to their sworn rival’s title ambitions while boosting their own Champions League aspirations when they meet.

Spurs are six points behind Aston Villa who are punching above their weight and looking to qualify for the Champions League under the impressive Unai Emery

The Lilywhites are having a challenging end to a season that began with eight wins from their first 10 games before the wheels came off. The last time they played in the Premier League, they suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Newcastle and will need to respond against Arsenal to ensure they keep pressure on Villa. 

There is a little distraction in the form of the Europa Conference League where Villa have reached the semi-final which could mean they play extra games than Spurs but Postecoglou will know that his team just have to do their job and keep hopes alive if they are to secure Champions League football

Without kicking a ball they were dealt an injury blow with Italian defender Destiny Udogie ruled out for what is left of the campaign after an injury in training. This is the business end of the season and every point is vital. 

A Champions League spot could be season-defining and financially beneficial to Spurs but they will have to lift themselves and cope with the injury situation at the club.
