The latest round of Premier League fixtures got underway on Tuesday night as Brighton and Nottingham Forest played out a 0-0 draw while Crystal Palace won 2-1 at home to Wolves.

The remainder of the card takes place tonight and tomorrow and Tottenham have the chance to take advantage of Arsenal and Manchester City not being in action. The league leaders and the second place side were due to go head-to-head this round but the match is postponed as Arsenal are on Europa League duties against PSV Eindhoven on Thursday. It means that Antonio Conte’s side have a chance to leapfrog City into second place cut the gap on the Gunners to a point if they can beat Manchester United at Old Trafford and here is the injury news for boths sides ahead of the game:

Tottenham team news: Richarlison not out long term but will miss Old Trafford trip

Antonio Conte has confirmed that the injury Richarlison picked up to his calf in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Everton will not keep the Brazilian out long term, but he will miss the match with Manchester United. Also expected to sit this out is Dejan Kulusevski with the Spurs head coach saying: : “Richy has his injury, it’s not a serious injury, but he needs a bit of time to recover. But, for sure, it’s not a serious injury. He was really worried after the game against Everton.

“Deki is another player who needs a bit of time to recover. The medical department are working in a strong way to give me the possibility to have an important player in my choice, but we have to wait. Lucas is available, he’s working and starting to have good physical condition.”

Japhet Tanganga remains a long term injury absentee for Spurs while Emerson Royal is set to serve the third and final match of his suspension picked up against Arsenal in the North London derby.

Man Utd team news: Martial out and Eriksen a doubt to face former club

Christian Eriksen looks likely to miss out on facing his former side while French forward Anthony Martial will not play a part. United head coach Erike ten Hag said: “Anthony Martial, he is not available. He is back on the pitch but not in the team training. Christian Eriksen returned in the team training today and we have to see how that works out, how he will recover, whether tomorrow he has the energy. So we have to wait for that.”

Harry Maguire, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will all also be unavailable for the Red Devils. When asked for an update on the trio, the Dutchman added: “They are making good progress, all, and they will all return in team training this week.” Meanwhile, midfielder Scott McTominay will be back in the squad after suspension.
