Tottenham forward Ivan Perisic‘s contract will come to an end next summer with the club seemingly not interested in extending his deal.

There are reports that he could go in opposite direction to Luka Vuskovic with Croatian side Hajduk Split  interested in him. Perisic was brought in by former boss Antonio Conte and ever since his departure the Croatian has been in and out of the Spurst team.

Credit to him, he’s maintained his professionalim and has come from the bench to influence many games, including this season. The 34-year-old also has interest from clubs in Italy where he spent most of his career but it remains to be seen if the temptation to go back home and enjoy the last days of his career will be huge and too good to turn down.

Tottenham have beaten Manchester City and Liverpool to the signing of Luka Vuskovic and that could potentially now allow Perisic to leave on a free when his contract runs.

Tottenham look like they are going places this season under the likeable Ange Postecoglou who has transformed the style of play to what Spurs fans want.

They have also seen that yield results against Manchester United at home and Bournemouth away, the Lilywhites will also feel unlucky not to have beaten Brentford on Premier League opening day.

The likes of James Maddison have also provided a platform for belief having arrived and settled so quickly despite the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
