Every year, at the end of June, football teams across the country release players who are out of contract - Tottenham Hotspur are no exception to this rule.

Currently, Spurs have five players whose contracts are set to run out at the end of the season. In this piece, we'll be looking at exactly who they are - and how likely they are to receive a new deal before their current contracts reach their end.

There are some big names among them - including two players who featured in the 2019 Champions League final and another who won the World Cup with France in 2018. But who are they?

Which Tottenham players are out of contract in the summer of 2024?

Perhaps the most recognisable player on the list is Hugo Lloris, who has been with Spurs since 2012, making 361 Premier League appearances for them during this time. However, this season, he has largely been usurped by the highly impressive Guglielmo Vicario. At the age of 36, it would be surprising to see him land a new deal.

Eric Dier, another player who featured in the 2019 Champions League final, is also out of contract in 2024. He has seen his position at the club plummet somewhat, following the arrival of Micky Van de Ven, but he still remains a solid rotation option for Spurs.

Ivan Perisic has been an excellent servant to Spurs since he joined the club in 2022, showing his adaptability and technical ability, but an ACL injury has ruled him out for the season. As such, he seems unlikely to get a new contract.

As well as this, Brandon Austin and Fraser Forster will also see their deals expire in 2024. Like Lloris, with the emergence of Vicario, their chances in the first team are now very limited - it's likely they will both be released.
