Former player on trial with Premier League club

Former Tottenham Hotspur player John Bostock is on trial with fellow Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

The midfielder, who played for the London club from 2008 to 2013, is a free agent following his departure from League Two outfit Doncaster Rovers at the end of last term.

As per the Doncaster Free Press, he played for Forest’s U21s side in a game against Italian club Palermo last week.

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Spurs-linked Daichi Kamada.

The attacking midfielder has caught the eye playing over in Germany for Eintracht Frankfurt over recent years. He helped them win the Europa League in the last campaign.

According to Bild, the Toffees are the latest team to join the race for his signature.

Blow ahead of the derby

Spurs could be without influential winger Dejan Kulusevski for the derby this weekend.

The Sweden international, 22, has apparently picked up a muscle injury away on international duty.

As per a report by talkSPORT, he is now a ‘doubt’ ahead of the big clash against the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium which isn’t ideal for Conte’s side.
