Tottenham defender Eric Dire says he is working hard on scoring more goals and helping his team win football matches after his goal against Leicester.
The England defender scored his first goal in three years against Southampton in the first game of the season when Spurs came from a goal down to beat Southampton 4-1.

Hide AdThat goal against Southampton seemed to have opened the floodgate for the England defender who celebrated his recall to the Three Lions squad with a well taken goal against Leicester just before the international break.
He admits he has been spending time working on polishing the attacking phase of his game.
He told reporters after his team’s 6-2 win over Leicester in the Premier League: “Yeah one of my objectives is to score more goals and I think It’s something that I wanted to do more and the manager wanted me to do more and yeah something that I have been focusing on and I’m very happy to have two now. Hopefully I can get more.”
Spurs are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and just one point behind leaders Arsenal, ahead of their first North London derby of the season in October after the international break.

Hide AdThe Lillywhites have shown promise and added the experienced Richarlison to their attacking options.
Dier is excited with the direction of travel of the club so far and feels that they will always win games if they can keep clean sheets due to the power in their attack.
He added: “Yeah I think obviously we have a lot of attacking quality and we’ve added Richie as well.
“We have so much attacking quality going forward I would say if we keep a clean sheet we will win games because we will definitely score goals.”
