Pep Guardiola has travelled to London with almost a full squad for tonight’s season-defining game against Spurs.

Manchester City have just been handed another option in attack for the must-win game against Tottenham with manager Pep Guardiola confirming £100million star Jack Grealish who missed out at Fulham due to illness is now back in the team.

Manchester City have to do something they’ve never done in the Premier League under their decorative manager, and that is to win at the Tottenham stadium in the League. Earlier in the season they won there in the FA Cup in a closely contested encounter.

They will have to dig deep to get all three points but in what is a significant lift for the team, Guardiola confirmed Grealish was back in the team even though Nathan Ake who scored the winner when those two last met in north London a doubt.

He told reporters: "Jack is recovered from his illness. Nathan wasn't much better yesterday [Sunday]. Now he will train and we will see if he can train. It is not serious, but we had just two days from the last game."

Spurs find themselves between a rock and a hard place

Tottenham need a win to keep alive their hopes of securing Champions League football but a win could also mean they effectively aid their sworn rivals Arsenal in winning their first league title in 20 years.

The fans are divided but there is no doubt that the players will look to do a job and possibly secure three points that could turn a slightly disappointing campaign into a promising one.
