Early Tottenham team news as fresh Destiny Udogie boost see drastic change in predicted XI vs Chelsea

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will see if his team can play under pressure when Chelsea come to north London.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is hoping that his team can prove their title credentials when they host Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea this evening in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites have been brilliant with eight wins and two draws in their first 10 games of the season. They will attempt to win five consecutive league games for the first time since 2018 against a Chelsea side that has been incredibly inconsistent. The Blues have just three wins from their first league games.

Spurs have Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon on the sidelines but Destiny Udogie could return having missed the game against Crystal Palace.

His return will be a massive boost to the Lilywhites who will underline their title credentials if they can get all three points against their sworn rivals.

Tottenham ended an eight-game winless run against Chelsea with a 2-0 home victory in February and now they will hope to go on a run and prove that there has been a power shift.

Chelsea lost to Brentford in their last league game and even though they returned to win against Blackburn in the League Cup-it remains to be seen if they can be the first team to beat Tottenham in the league this season.

Ange Postecoglou has not lost a home league game in over 40 games so it will be interesting to see how this one goes but this is how we predict he’ll set up his team.
